English Teacher / Communications Trainer - Milan (EOI) & Rome (PT)

The role of our English Teachers and Communication Trainers is to teach and design in-company courses, and to provide guidance and support to the students in order to reach the client's language training objectives. Due to the level of responsibility given to our teachers, from day-to-day management of lessons and schedules to skills gap analysis and curriculum planning, this position is suitable only for experienced full-time teaching professionals.
The job requires a real passion for and understanding of training, a
people-orientated and energetic personality, and a commitment to continuous
development and improvement as a professional. The key personal qualities we
look for are drive, curiosity, and ethics.
Requirements:
- native English speaker
- either at least 2 years corporate language training experience, or alternatively,
a minimum of 1 years training experience, preferably in a corporate environment,
with at least 3 years professional experience in a business environment
- recognized TEFL certificate (CELTA or equivalent, with a substantial
classroom practice component). In special circumstances similar alternative
qualifications such as the CPLP or PTLLS may be acceptable.
- high emotional intelligence and well developed interpersonal skills
- good educational background and IT skills
- a passion for teaching and language
- priority will be given to candidates with experience in the application
of English to sales & marketing, law, finance or corporate communication
skills training.
- preference for English teachers already resident in Milan/Italy
- valid Italian working papers or EU passport
- prior knowledge of blended learning programs or e-learning is an advantage

* Full time positions offer a stable, fixed monthly salary, including 4 weeks holiday over the summer and Christmas periods. Part time positions are paid on a per hour basis. We currently offer 2 full time contract options with different levels of time commitment and at different salary levels: one retainer-type contract (an average of 20 teaching hours per week) and a full-time contract (an average of 25 teaching hours per week).
