What is Blended Learning?
Elearning delivers many benefits in terms of efficiency, cost and learning retention, but we believe that a language must also be practised and applied with a qualified native English teacher.
Blended Learning courses combine the advantages of elearning with rigorous practice, correction and guidance face-to-face with a teacher.
What are the advantages?
Efficient - every student can study at their own pace, and are not held up by other group members.
Effective - active one-to-one study using multimedia tools has been proven to increase the amount of learning that the student retains after the lesson.
Convenient - study anytime and anywhere you can connect to the internet, or download an assignment and work offline.
Flexible - create your own schedule and study what you need most.
How does learning online compare to traditional training methods?
TJ Taylor Blended Learning |

| Choose how long you study in each session. | Each class session is for a fixed period of time. |
| Choose exactly what you need to study most. | Follow a fixed curriculum. |
| All our teachers are qualified native speakers of English. | Classroom teachers are not always native speakers of English. |
| Students receive personalized feedback their progress, and vocabulary/grammar reminders after each class. | Teachers often do not have time to give personalized feedback to each student. |
| The Human Resources department receives a detailed report on the course to allow them to evaluate each student's progress | The Human Resources department receives a list of student attendance and must presume the students have learnt something. |
| Where appropriate, technology is used to enhance the learning experience and improve retention. | Classroom instruction does not often take advantage of technology. |
